Subject: Refund Policy for Digital Purchases in the EU

1. Consumer Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European Union regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of digital content within 14 days of the transaction date, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, simply contact our support team at store@jerktok.me with your order ID.

2. Loss of the Right of Withdrawal

Important: You lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once you begin downloading or using the digital content (e.g., using Claps or Pips), but only if the following two conditions were met at the time of purchase:

  • You gave your prior express consent to begin the performance of the digital content immediately.
  • You acknowledged that by giving this consent, you would lose your right of withdrawal.

This information will be clearly presented to you before you finalize your purchase, and you will receive a confirmation of your agreement. If this procedure was not followed, you retain your right of withdrawal even if you have started using the product.

3. General Conditions for Refunds

  • Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase, provided you have not lost your right of withdrawal as described in point 2.
  • Verification: The original transaction receipt or order ID is required for verification.
  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Discounted Items: Your right of withdrawal and refund applies to all items, including those purchased at a discount or during a promotion. The clause stating otherwise  does not apply to EU consumers.

4. Returns Process

  • Contact: Send your request to store@jerktok.me, providing your order ID, payment method, and the reason for the request.
  • Review: Our team will review your request to verify that the digital product meets the conditions for a refund under EU law.
  • Processing: If approved, the refund will be processed, and a confirmation will be sent to your email. The funds will be credited to your account within.
  • 1–5 business days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
  • Denial: A refund request will be denied if it is made outside the 14-day period or if you expressly consented to the immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right before using the content.

5. Defective or Non-Conforming Digital Content

If a digital product is defective, does not work as described, or is not fit for purpose, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced. If this is not possible, you are entitled to a refund under the EU’s legal guarantee framework. This right is separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

6. Policy Abuse

Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated fraudulent refund requests) may lead to account restrictions or the denial of future refund requests.
